6-Nov-2018 | Worthy Inspector General of Police, Islamabad, Aamir Zulifqar Khan made his maiden visit to Islamabad Traffic Police Headquarters. Senior Superintendent of Police, Traffic Division, Farrukh Rashid briefed him about different sections of ITP HQs. During his visit he planted a sapling of plant at ITP Theme Park. DIG Waqar Chohan, SP Ch. Muhammad Arshad and Station Director, ITP FM 92.4, Aisha Jamil were also present during this visit.

Jan Muhammad took charge as Inspector General of Police, Islamabad. He has served as a senior police officer in other provinces. He was serving in National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA), has been transferred and posted as Inspector General, Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police, under the Interior Division.

Inspector General of Police Dr. Sultan Azam Temuri visited ITP Headquarters F-8 where he inspected newly launched Media Production Studios, MPRC, ITP FM, and he also inaugurated the ground breaking of Road Safety Hall. He also visited ITP Faizabad office where he inspected Driving School and Traffic Theme Park. SSP Traffic Farrukh Rashid and Station Director Ms Aisha Jamil were along with Worthy/IGP during this visit.

W/IGP Dr. Sultan Azam Temuri, SSP Traffic Division Farrukh Rashid, SP Ch. Khalid Rashid, and Station Director Aisha Jamil with ITP Education Wing participated in Special Person's Car Rally, today, to spread traffic awareness.

Islamabad Traffic Police Bike Rally (29-April-2018). W/IGP Islamabad Police Dr. Sultan Azam Temuri, SSP Traffic Division Farrukh Rashid and SP Ch. Khalid Rashid lead the Rally. The Rally started from F-9 Park and Ended at Peer Suhawa Islamabad. A large number of citizens participated in rally to highlight the importance of Helmate for bike riders.

Flt. Lt. (R) Farrukh Rashid took charge as SSP Traffic Islamabad. He has served as a senior police officer in other provinces. He has served Islamabad Police as ASP and SP and before taking charge as SSP ITP he was serving as AIG General. He said that he would like to promote ITP's vision and community policing as first priority.

SP Islamabad Traffic Police, Ch. Khalid Rasheed, was invited as Chief Guest on annual result ceremony of Islamabad Model School, Sector G-11/2 to distribute prize among position holder students. Students and their parents have participated in the ceremony. The participants were briefed about the vision of Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Dr. Sultan Azam Taimuri, and told that ITP is specifically working on five core values i.e. people friendly, service oriented, professionalism, equal implementation of the law and corruption free set up. The parents and students were especially briefed about road safety rules and traffic awareness. At the end, ITP has given shield to coordinator Mr. Basharat Ullah Kakakhel and Principal Ms. Rehana Bashir as well certificates to best/hard working teachers. Ms. Rehana Bashir paid special thanks to ITP for participation and appreciated the role of ITP in maintaining smooth flow of traffic and enforcement of traffic rules.

SSP Traffic Malik Matloob Awan on his visit to ITP Driving Simulator Training Institute, today. He checked the quality of services and instructed the officers to accelerate the modernization process of ITP with latest technology.

Inspector General of Police Islamabad Dr. Sultan Azam Temuri visited Islamabad Traffic Police office today. He directed the force to ensure implementation of law and be respectful with the citizens. He said mission of ITP is to maintain road discipline so that road accidents can be avoided.
